The Water Quality Association’s Gold Seal Certification Program is dedicated to providing public health and safety services throughout the USA and globally while maintaining expert service, superior reputation, and fair pricing. The Gold Seal Program offers certification of all products and chemicals that contract drinking water.
NSF/ANSI 42, 53, 58

NSF/ANSI Standard 42 Drinking Water Treatment Units – Aesthetics effects any type of carbon filter that provides chlorine reduction, particulate reduction, and chloramines reduction.

NSF/ANSI Standard 53 Drinking Water Treatment Units – Health effects any type of carbon filter that provides volatile organic chemical (VOC) reduction, cyst reduction, and turbidity reduction.

NSF/ANSI Standard 58 Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Treatment Units – A reverse osmosis (RO) system that provides total dissolved solids (TDS) reduction, volatile organic chemical (VOC) reduction, arsenic reduction, nitrate/nitrite reduction.
ISO 9001
The ISO 9001 is a Quality Management System (QMS) intended for use in any organization which designs, develops, manufactures, installs, and/or services any product or provides any form of service. It provides a number of requirements which an organization must fulfill if it is to achieve customer satisfaction through consistent products and service which meet customer expectations. It includes a requirement for the continual (i.e. planned) improvement of the Quality Management System.
ISO 14001
The ISO 14001 is the international specification for an Environmental Management System (EMS). It specifies requirements for:

Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. (UL) has more than 800 standards for safety. Millions of products and their components are tested to UL’s rigorous safety standards with the result that consumers live in a safer environment than would have otherwise.
<CE logo>
CE marking is legally required for products intended for sale or placed into service in Europe. The requirements for CE marking apply to all manufacturers, whether located within or outside of the EU. In order to be compliant with CD marking requirements, a manufacturer must ensure that his products meet all applicable directives.
