Recycling Toner Cartridges and Toner Containers

Our equipment vendors have programs for recycling their toner cartridges and toner containers, and we encourage our customers to participate.

Ricoh/Lanier

Toner Cartridge Return Program

Models with toner cartridges will have a pre-paid shipping label included with replacement cartridges. Just package your old cartridge in the replacement cartridge box, adhere the pre-paid label, and ship it.

Toner Containers

If you cannot recycle your toner containers with your local municipality there are two options for recycling:

  • You may ship the toner container, at your expense, to Ricoh in your own box and Ricoh will recycle it. Ship to:

  • Toner Recycling Return Box Program – Ricoh provides the convenience of purchasing a liner and box with a pre-paid UPS shipping label attached. The box dimensions are 26” (h) X 19” (w) X 10” (d), and the cost is $20 for two boxes. The box can be set up next to Ricoh/Lanier machines or at your recycling hub. Canon

Canon uses a plastic in their plastic toner containers that allows for local recycling. Canon has engraved a plastic resin code on each container.

When Canon plastic toner containers cannot be recycled locally or sent to a local energy recovery facility, customers can ship them to the following address:
         Canon Toner Container Collection Center
         2051 Meridian Place
         Hebron, KY 41048

Shipping is at the customer’s expense. Once Canon receives the cartridges, they assume the responsibility and cost for recycling.

HP

All HP toner cartridges come with a self addressed pre-paid shipping label for recycling. Simply reuse the replacement cartridge box for shipping.

Toshiba

Toshiba’s toner cartridges recycling partner is Close the Loop Inc.. Customers can register to participate in Toshiba’s toner recycling program on line at www.closetheloopusa.com. Upon registration, Close the Loop will deliver a starter kit to your facility.
