"Some of our oldest documents dating back to 1965 were stored in our basement and were deteriorating fast. We had these scanned and they look fantastic. I couldn’t have asked for a better turnout. The scans are very crisp and clear, helping us preserve the records."

Your Guide to the Retention of Government Records Through Bulk Document Scanning

EO Johnson has flexible options to meet your needs and budget, including one-time or incremental processing options. Some government agencies also choose to perform a portion of the prep work to reduce costs. Additionally, the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding program may be a resource for your government agency. If you plan to utilize ARPA funds, be sure to act quickly as they expire in 2024.

EO Johnson maintains a controlled-access scanning office with 24-hour security. We are also SOC 2 Type 2 audited and FFIEC examined. Your information security is our highest priority.

No worries. We expect that to happen. We have a process in place for you to request the document, and we will get it to you quickly.

We understand this is the case with some government records, so we provide an on-premises scanning option.

That’s no problem. We will partner with you to create a format for your files that integrates with your current document management system.
But if you need a document management system to securely store your files after they are scanned, we can also help with that.

We have the horsepower in our production-level scanning process to complete your digitization project quickly and accurately. Here is a short video to illustrate our process:

About EO Johnson

EO Johnson is a world-class business technologies and managed IT services leader. The company was founded in 1957 by Emery O. Johnson as a copier company. It has evolved to be a leader in helping businesses with their copier and printer equipment, information technology, and digital transformation needs. “The end result[s] were beautiful, crisp scans that are now in a searchable PDF format. Without having the documents at our office, we have so much more space and we don’t worry about spending time and money searching for a document.”
Treasurer, Sauk County, WI
“We had nine five-drawer file cabinets full of paper. We wanted to go paperless and started the process ourselves, but it was going to take too long. It took EO Johnson a few weeks to complete the project when others were quoting months, and it would have taken years for us to do it ourselves.”
Hunter Rudnick, Jackson County Veterans Service Officer
“I am confident we chose the best company to meet our highly complex needs, enabling us to effectively retain decades of information we would not have been able to manage on our own.”
