State Certifies EO Johnson as a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise

Written by EO Johnson Business Technologies | Thu, Jun 19, 2014

EO Johnson Business Technologies has received certification as a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) through the State of Wisconsin Department of Administration. The designation is pursuant to the state administration rule requirements of Adm. 83 which provides validation that EO Johnson meets the requirements of being at least 51 percent woman owned, controlled, and managed.  It qualifies EO Johnson to be considered for contracts with corporations and government entities that seek vendor relationships with businesses owned and operated by women.

“I am very pleased that EO Johnson Business Technologies has been recognized as a Woman-Owned Business,” said Mary Jo Johnson, CEO/Owner.  “This designation will be meaningful to many who already do business with us as well as companies considering us, particularly government, schools, and other woman-owned businesses.  Although the designation draws particular attention to me as the female owner, I have 240-plus people at EO Johnson working alongside me – women and men, and we are all dedicated to providing the ultimate customer/client experience.”

EO Johnson was established in May 1957 and specializes in business technologies including IT network services and print and document management and equipment.  The company was founded by Emery O. (E.O.) Johnson.  Mary Jo Johnson, E.O.’s daughter, owns and runs the company today and was named CEO in 1999.
